Larger or unclear jobs move to inspection first, so the office can confirm the real scope before work continues. Why are some H.E.M jobs fixed-price and others inspection-first?
Small repeatable jobs can be priced clearly in advance. Larger, custom, or unclear jobs need inspection first so final scope and cost are confirmed properly.
What happens outside normal working hours?
For after-hours emergency plumbing and electrical visits, H.E.M applies a AED 149 inspection fee plus AED 100 emergency call-out. If the job proceeds, the inspection fee is deducted from the final work.
Will I know the final price before repair starts?
Yes. H.E.M confirms the final quote before work continues on larger or inspection-led jobs, and clients approve quotes digitally before the next step.
